In Time for the Super Bowl

Are you the kind of person who wants to support his or her favorite team in the Super Bowl and make sure you’re in your seat in time for the kickoff? Want to sport your team’s favorite colors without paying the pesky prices that go with officially licensed merchandise? Well, (conveniently for the introduction to this story) RumbaTime has a set of products that just so happen to match all of these criteria.

Just in time for Super Bowl XLV, RumbaTime has been hard at work plugging its line-up of watches, bringing special attention to the black, white and gold, as well as the green and gold collections. While they’re not officially-licensed Steelers or Packers gear, and it all officially existed before this matchup was made, but the idea is that they’ll blend in with the rest of the fan attire without costing the big bucks. NECA continues to create detailed replicas and finally allows gamers to get their hands on EVE Hypo Syringes outside of a visit to Rapture. In BioShock, the EVE Hypo Syringe allows the player to shoot up glowing blue EVE that powers the plasmid abilities. The replica syringe is about a foot long, and a button on top activates a led light to give it a blue glow.

NECA nailed the art deco/steam punk style of the syringe. The artwork is complete with scratches and tarnishing as if it was picked up off the floor of Point Prometheus. It makes a great gift for fans of BioShock. Sorry diabetics and heroin addicts, but the needle is solid plastic, so it won’t be able to replace a real syringe.
