From Comic-Con Part 9 – Microsoft Meetings

shadowcomplex1Microsoft invited us over to the Omin Hotel July 23 to get into a nice, air-conditioned executive skybox suite for 30-minute meetings away from the flatulence-heavy exhibit floor over at the San Diego Convention Center. The Nintendo DS is a unique little gaming platform that can capitalize on an assorted variety of gameplay features and storytelling techniques in which consoles are unable to dabble. Lux-Pain attempts to capitalize on those abilities with its stylized novella approach and manga-inspired artwork, but the end result is unforgivably destroyed by atrocious localization issues that ruin what might have been an interesting plot. It is so bad that at times the plot becomes nonsensical with its riddling phrases, grammatical issues, random punctuation and spelling errors. (more…)
