The first comic in the new Guild series starts at the very beginning, before Cyd Sherman started gaming. It begins like most episodes of The Guild, with Cyd talking to her webcam about new problems and revelations in her life. The 24-page comic follows Cyd as she talks with her therapist, gets prescribed medication with some pretty nasty side effects, and as she tries to help her demanding self-proclaimed rock star of a boyfriend, Trevor, get his band noticed by some record label guys.
