For the last couple of weeks, I, like most people, have been watching a lot of the Olympics. I’m impressed by just how fast those people can ski down a mountain, when I can barely make it down a bunny hill. Obviously, there were a lot of crashes this year, but overall, it’s still pretty cool. I’m also angry that I’ve had to work during all the awesome hockey games, or I only get to see 5 minutes before leaving for work or after getting home.

Beyond that, I’ve been working on Crime Scene for the DS, which started out fun but turned into more than 16 hours of on-again off-again frustration. The review will be posted later. I’m also working on a Professor Fizzwizzle game on the Wii, and have a couple more are lined up to start after I’m done.

At the end of March, I’m heading to PAX East in Boston. It’s pretty exciting because I’ve never been there before, but have wanted to go. We’re going to head out early and stay a little into the next week so that we can see some of the sights around the area. I’ll have to start practicing my Boston accent. PAX should be a good time too. The last time we went (Seattle), I wasn’t as much into video games, so I pretty much saw what I wanted to see in the first day. But this year, I’m more into playing and there should be some cool stuff to try out. Anyone else heading out to PAX?

In other not-related-to-comics-or-games-but-still-cool news, I just watched the trailer for The Expendables. It’s a Sylvester Stallone movie not due out until August of this year, but it has every action movie actor you could think of, from Sly himself, to Jason Statham to Dolph Lundgren, to Stone Cold Steve Austin. If you don’t already know about this movie, I highly recommend you take some time to look it up on IMDB and check out the trailer posted there. It looks pretty amazing and I’m very excited.

Anyway, I think that’s all I have for now, so leave me any questions or comments you may have and I’ll try to answer them next time. Later!
